About David Castillo and William Egginton

David R. Castillo teaches on Cervantes and early modern culture, theory and criticism, and the cultural history of horror at SUNY Buffalo, where he served as Chair of Romance Languages and Literatures between 2009 and 2015. William Egginton is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities at the John Hopkins University. His next book, “The Man Who Invented Fiction: How Cervantes Ushered in the Modern World”, will be published by Bloomsbury in 2016.
